Doom2.exe and TNT's Boom engine ( and MBF ) treat linedef type\actions and also tagged sectors which use "shortest lower texture" differently. This can affect the height that the floor of the target\tagged sector travels to.

The linedef types\actions are 30 and 96, and sectors tagged # 667.

Some examples are ...

Ultimate Doom E3M2 - linedef 473 and sector 54 .

Doom2 Level 17 - Linedef 675 and sector 265.

Plutonia Level 23 - Linedef 1488 and sector 182.

A good "rule of thumb" is to make sure that when playing Pwads made for Doom2.exe ( Vanilla Doom ) that the command switch -mfo be placed on the command line.

As of Risen3D v2.2.09 there is no need to use the switch if just playing the Iwads.

For some vanilla Pwads the switch has been added via a database file.

DO NOT use the -mfo switch for Boom/MBF maps.
